Dr. Tanya Saour began her journey in dental and orthodontic care after earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Detroit Mercy in Michigan in 2009. She continued her advanced training at the same institution, completing a Master of Science in Craniofacial Growth and Development along with a Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics in 2011.

Her early work with Cleft Lip and Palate registries and UNICEF pediatric health initiatives helped shape her passion for orthodontics and the impact it can have on a child’s life. Today, Dr. Saour blends her love of art and science to create thoughtful, personalized treatment plans in a warm, welcoming setting where she often builds lasting relationships with her patients and their families.

Dr. Saour is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southwestern Association of Orthodontists, and the Texas Association of Orthodontists. She continues to stay at the forefront of her field through research and continuing education and has shared her expertise as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center School of Dentistry in Houston.

Her commitment to excellence extends beyond the clinic. She is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, Alpha Sigma Nu, and the Golden Key International Honour Society, reflecting her dedication to professional growth, community outreach, and mentorship.
